Males primarily loose the ability to hear and understand high pitched sounds and voices. I have no trouble hearing this deep voice, but I’m sure I’d have a much more difficult time if the test was conducted with a female voice.

Agree 100%. This is a person who culturally identified with a group and adopted their customs into her daily life.
