I got into ultralight backpacking a few years back and made similar stoves. I finally found an awesome commercial solution at http://www.brasslite.com/

I miss simple ASCII graphic based multi-player games like ncsnipes. Kids today take multi-player for granted.
Raises rarely correlate to performance at my current employer.
My father one up'd this on the reality side. He created an allowance book out of an old general ledger where he recorded our earnings and spendings. He even allowed us to deposit gifts and birthday money for safe keeping.
Even though it is only 6 years old, my home wasn't wired for data. I've had to build a mix of wired/wireless bridges to get everything covered and working right. The networked printer sits next to, and is connected to the modem. Computers are all wireless, and I have a DD-WRT wireless bridge upstairs that connects…
Buy a dryer with a "Quick Refresh" option. My kids' sunday best usually ends up in a pile at the back of the closet. 20 minutes in the dryer on the cycle that moistens and de-wrinkles makes them look presentable.
I agree titles are most useful when you are looking for another job, so it's important to confirm that HR has documented your title promotions. When the title on my CV didn't match my former employeer's outdated files, I looked like a liar who overinflated my experience on a job application.
I'm surprised the Char Broil TRU infrared grills aren't mentioned. I bought one on Consumer Reports' recommendation. The indirect, radiant cooking really does keep meat moist and juicy.
All the company's production went through the bottleneck I managed and maintained. I had been dealing with several catastrophic equipment breakdowns, but I wasn't allowed to do anything beyond band-aid fixes. My frustration built to the point that I was kicking doors and garbage cans every time we had another…
I know the experts say that you can't block the alien rays with a tinfoil hat, but why take a chance?
My company bought CS3 Design Premium 6 years ago, and I'm still using it just fine. Paying $50/month would have cost about 3x what we paid. Sure, I'd like to have some of the newer features, but keeping costs down is a major reason I still have a job. I guarantee I won't be able to convince my bosses to pay for…

Winning a "Where was this taken?" contest. Ok, so I haven't won yet, but that sand dune could have been anywhere.
So what do you do when you have the opposite?
I've always gotten great rates from Capital One's auto loan website. Walking into a dealer, knowing you basically have a blank check in your pocket makes it a lot easier to negotiate.
For a family of 6 (2 adults and kids from 12-5) we spend almost $1000/month every month on groceries.
Miracle Whip. There is no substitute for Miracle Whip.
Growl was a great program when it was free. Updates were always prompt and quickly fixed issues with OS updates. After the Dev moved to the App store, the program was full of bugs, rarely worked and cost an arm and a leg for a service that was now built in the OS.
I've been in productive 3 hour meetings. It all comes down to having a set agenda, clear expectations on what will be accomplished, what preparation was needed, and ensuring the right people are attending.
