Wrangler Bros, they are everywhere.

My guess is so that EPA fuel economy will look good.

Good, that saves me from digging up a picture and posting it. This was just a normal, slightly overpriced sports coupe when it was sold for a few years, but man was it styled well.

Yup. Cadillac is total yuppie garbage now. There is nothing that stands out about them as proud and defiant, because Cadillac doesn’t even want to be a Caddy anymore. They just keep trying to mimic what everyone else is doing instead of creating their own design. Hence the bullshit move to New York. Wow, great idea.

“...In other news, Volkswagen subsidiary ‘Tesla’ has been caught cheating on emissions testing.  Scientists are looking into how this is even possible...”

The same thing Apple became without Steve Jobs...Next question.

Bonus: Watch those panel gaps disappear.

Tesla without Elon Musk is a future subsidiary of Toyota

It’s a 1995, and I was 8 when it was built, so no.

Stupid asshole.

This seems like an argument FOR the tariff

You raise a good point and keep in mind this convo was a continuation on a previous text conversation about a different car for a different customer. I try to be as friendly as possible and I always want to set up a situation where everyone wins. The customer gets a car at a good price, the salesperson makes a deal

I don’t understand why people pointing out real faults and limitations are continually being categorized as “cheering for the company to fail.

I’d wager that distracted driving is a factor in more accidents than fatigue. These systems enable one to sit in the driver’s seat and become totally engrossed in their phone and about as effective as someone on their phone in the backseat in getting the car under control in an emergency.

Exactly. Those level 1-3 are useless and should be outlawed.

This. The reason Autopilot keeps killing people is the interaction between the car & driver is terrible - the car does not communicate/alert enough to the driver to take control in case of an emergency, and more often than not it happens too quickly to react.

I feel like the safest of all these autonomous levels is actually gonna be level 4. The premise behind it is that the car takes in data from maps and cameras and sensors around the road giving it a very clear picture of the world around it.

Agreed. People are going to lean on and abuse this technology despite it’s shortcomings. So until we can get every vehicle to Level 5, these crashes are going to continue to happen. Automakers have enough on their plates trying to get us to stay in our lanes, look when backing up and keep us from crashing into the

exactly this. And what are they going to do when the driver isn’t paying attention? Disengage the system? Of course not. It’s just going to beep louder. People are too fucking dumb, selfish, ignorant, or whatever for this technology.

What is autopilot for?
