Young mistakes, we've all made them. Try again. And by the way, after you open with an Iron Cross on the mantel, no matter what comes next, you're dead.

Godamighty, read my question! "... he creates or receives?" Receives. As in, temporarily waived fees or a really successful trade in the oil futures market (which is something that Southwest Airlines is good at) or an unusually good buy on the little bags of peanuts they give away on airplanes.

Dang! I live out in the sticks and have to be satisfied with my puny DSL, 3Mb down, maybe 500Kb up. Jealous.

We like to assimilate our immigrants, as well. "Melting pot" and all that. Mostly, though, they stick to themselves and don't bother to learn the language. Of course, you have a little over 300,000 people total while there are probably that many Hispanics alone here in North Carolina.

The responses here on Giz to these kind of issues always crack me up. "What? An iThing only has $150 worth of hardware in it? They're ripping us off!"

Heard a great explanation for our current situation:

Almost 20 years ago, I bought a dryer at a yard sale for $60. After a few years of use, I had to spend another $60 on a new heating element. It still works and I use it every week.

Not sure I buy that. Nobody is totally anonymous. Schoolmates, friends, family, members of the same clubs.

Why do you want to use a gas station attendant? And, do we even have gas station attendants any more, outside of New Jersey?
