I think my favorite is either "Word on a Wing" or "Station to Station", which speaks to the incredible richness and power of that album.

I'm pretty sure they make little figurines with moving pieces, and then they trap some flies in the figurine, and the desperate fluttering of the terrified insect animates the moving parts, just like the toy owl in Werner Herzog's directorial debut.

Someone's been watching too much stop motion animation

Aww, I've always wanted to be stealthy!

I suppose not! Go have Narwhal's demonic little babies or something.

At first I was excited about this, but thinking on it further, I worry he might be rather miscast. I don't see Harris having the energy of a rather repulsive figure (though with subtle charisma) who nevertheless conveys a sense of great loss.

Alas, even the pretense of subtlety is now gone.

Your no and no makes yes impossible!

casual reminder that Happy Feet is legitimately really good

I mean, people should feel a certain measure of pride in their tastes, but not when it's a recently released film praised by almost everyone.

Gosh, he is a true horror in some ways, is he not? A laughable one, but truly a wretched scourge upon the earth.

Do not worry. I am a man who can never die.

It's pretty and rather nihilistic; seems fairly Narwhalian to me.

Fuck.

This is proper, and right, and correct.

Which in particular? Lifeline is definitely worth a listen in my judgement. The one original track on it, "He Reached Down", is vintage Dement in particular, I would say.

Yeah, I also like that album a lot. The title track is pretty great, as is "Wasteland of the Free", which is actually a rockish and angry political song.

I think it's between that and "Sweet is the Melody" for me.

Happy birthday, hector!

I've never claimed to be an ordinary boy.
