I didn't realize they really had Christian Democrat parties outside of Europe.

I barely remember this, which probably means I've repressed the memory. I need no reminders.

He keeps threatening to murder his dog on camera if we don't listen to every word he says. Why the hell do you think we even put ourselves through a recording session with him?

Best. Feature. Ever.

Yeah, the early period of American history is pretty glossed over in particular imo. We get kind of a weird, mythologized greatest hits in our textbooks and then they don't deal with it much.

I keep meaning to watch more. The real shame is I haven't talked about it much on here at all. But I do give it a strong endorsement at the end of the podcast, even if I feel like I utterly failed to convey what was so good about it, haha. So at least I'm trying.

I didn't learn that until this very moment!

I'll allow it!

How could I forget?

You'll just have to try and get obsessed with more things, or at least more various ones. I'm sure you and Stephen could have a healthy Adventure Time conversation as is. Or several others.
