Buildings often make a different impression in person than in photographs, which is almost certainly more important to the overall quality of the structure. You can obviously speak to the effect of the building in actual space in a way I cannot, at present.

I like the mix of obvious neoclassical influences with an almost Brutalist overall aesthetic. It's familiar enough to belong to a clear tradition of Communist buildings but with strong stylistic distinctions. Plus, the sheer size of the thing makes a powerful impression.
