My Porsche allegiance is becoming difficult to justify. The (likely) $30,000 base price differential means I can purchase a Corvette, with enough money leftover for a low mileage, two year old Toyota Tundra double cab.

Hey, despite his perennial fall collapses, never forget that Chris Sale is a guy with a great attitude and a killer work ethic, unlike that pain in the ass David Price, who is just so entitled and lazy! No sir, there’s definitely nothing problematic about these commonly held options at all—not with Boston’s fan base. [

I remain convinced that dual media conglomerate ownership of the Leafs will result in one company buying out the other and the ceding of media rights for a team in Markham. It makes less and less sense as things go that there are 3 NHL teams in the NY metro area and only 1 in Southern Ontario. MLSE vetoing Balsillie’s

Very true, however the US does tend to have a lot of isolationist history and good record of self-sufficiency, which is something that a lot of people still romanticize about. I do believe Americans can do just about anything as well as anyone else. We’re just too cheap to prioritize that.

It does take practice! It also takes having a pair of asbestos lips.

Judging by the front quarter, if they lowered it, they’d have a 2012 Mazda3.

Andy, the Prime Minister, before he learned of the bloody outrage:

Foster care? Well of course they are out of control.

Those girls are gonna get The Boot:

They’re 9..... Just pick’em up off the car and toss’em into a pond, or a bush. It’s Australia, that would totally fly. The children are the descendants of convicts, let the wildlife of Australia have them. Drop’em in a ponder or river, Salt Water Crocs and bull sharks baby. The bush? Well, get ready for a Brown or

“After the two girls got into a fight about cigarettes and abused an elderly lady.”

“It’s an unpredictable situation, You get nervous, but that’s when you have to react quickly. And because of your instinct and experience on the road, you’ll able to at least save lives.”

Yeah, well, what does 300 horsepower mean anyway? “I’m gonna beat you down a narrow strip of on-ramp into standstill traffic?”

Works on contingency? No, money down!

1st Gear: Since employers spend so damn much on ever-escalating health insurance costs for their workers, I don’t understand why many businesses oppose Medicare for all or some other form of *gasp* government-run/sponsored healthcare. If I ran a company with thousands of employers, I would be all for Medicare for all

We did make progress though. We built a massive Space Station and have had humans continually in space for close to 20 years now. THat is a huge accomplishment.

Is 60 years supposed to be a long time? Space travel isn’t like an iPhone where we can get an exponentially better version in a handful of years. It’s sending living things into a 100% hostile environment across distances that are vast enough to contain other worlds and stars. It’s difficulty on a scale we don’t

For what it’s worth, this is the Crew Dragon launching on Saturday morning with 117-minutes of star trails leading up to the launch and a storm over the Atlantic Ocean throwing out lightning bolts. It was pretty friggin’ impressive.

Because advancement requires investment at a very, very significant loss? We don’t fund anything significantly except our military. Not a political post, just an observation of the last ~25 years.
