I agree with you 100%. But personally I’m happy the CC is dead. I’ve never had the pleasure of driving one that isn’t a basket case piece of shit so I have a very low bar for the Arteon

That sucks. I could turbo my car for $3600 and run 480 at the wheels all day long.
I get where you’re coming from.
Emotion is the heart of driving. I’ll never own a car that doesn’t make me feel something
Makes you a better driver once you’re aware your mortality. Drove an ‘85 BRAT with no airbags (and for a few weeks no seatbelts) and I’ve never been more aware of my surroundings in my life. Carried that lesson into every other vehicle I’ve driven
Eh, not to take away from the tragedy, not completing training takes away that veteran status in the eyes of most veterans. Kid still gave his all though
7 grand isn’t high
Kind of what I was thinking. They let him enlist at 15?
I got an Uber ride in the Twin Turbo V6 variant and holy cow was that a smooth and comfortable ride. I don’t know why they aren’t more popular
Ugh look at all that logic used in your car buying. How droll
I live in Florida and the roads around here are pretty damn good. Once there was a little heat in the tires I never really had a problem in my buddies ‘13 GT500
Define unusable.
If it’s a manual that’s rare, at least around here. I get weirdly excited when I get to work on a 6speed 911 because I get to drive it afterwards
Sometimes I feel bad for my neighbors. The car isn’t too loud under normal driving once warm, but those cold starts are a little nuts
I’d say away from the WRX solely because of the douche bro vape nation vibe that’s associated with them nowadays
I do love the looks of the SVX, but as an idiotic manual purist, the lack of a 5 speed really kills them for me
Why not? If you’re not going berserk with the throttle it probably still turns some decent gas mileage
My driving record is worse (a few speeding tickets) but I am older
I still have my first car, a second gen Probe. They never stopped being little beasts
Actually yes, my V8 Mustang is cheaper to insure than a friends FoST of the same year
