A lot of people say this, but I love the LS engine and hate with a passion most of the cars they’re put in. If you want a V8 manual wagon, who cares if you tear apart an old legacy?

You can buy a Magnum XL brand new for $4700, and that includes the clutch and driveshaft. More than he stated, but by no means bridging that huge price gap

I’d be very curious to see how many GT3s get used for track racing regularly. A lot of these just get driven to swanky places so the valet can park it out front. Hell, my friends dad bought a GT3 and uses it as a daily (997)

I’ve decided to ride that breaking point until it ruins another part of my life. I can’t bring myself to get rid of it, but I don’t really have the money I’d need to throw at it until it’s perfect. At least right now

120% This. I’ve got a daily and a project. The daily receives my entire budget for cars. I’d love to finish my project, hell, I even have time for it now

My dad had told me when he was driving his 71 240z home from picking it up a cop had started following him on the thruway (Buffalo-Syracuse) for quite some time. The cop eventually passed him and he thought that was that.

I replied to a specific comment about camaro owners hovering outside the maintenance bay watching their cars get worked on. Also, some of these places have a dyno place close by that they use. I had a motor built awhile back and the shop owner used a dyno at his friends location because of space limitations at his.

As a technician at an import only shop, I can tell you any mini regardless of model is going to give you problems at some point. It’s not if but when

Paying for gas is a non issue when you’re not spending anything on maintenance or insurance

$1200 for an A/C compressor???? You got straight up robbed

Right? The shop I work at routinely gets pretty nice 911's and the odd AMG or Maserati. Those customers trust us enough not to destroy their cars.

1) that’s a great technical write up, thanks for posting 2) I also love tits

Yeah I’ll cede it was a way more developed engine. I thought it was basically a 11-12 GT500 motor

16 injector? If true I’ve never heard of that.

That’s some pedantry. The aluminum block and a head swap. I know it’s a more developed engine. But it an evolution of the Cobra R and Lightning. The iron block quad cam also ended up in the first gen GT500

I didn’t mean that literally haha. It’s just an image.

Base model Civics aren’t even understated. Their styling is all over the place and a complete mess of weird angles and god help that upright grill that looks completely out of place. I’ve never hated Civics but this new one looks awful.

Working mans supercar. Supercharged V8 works just as well

Lived with two people who valet at a ritzy waterfront restaurants. Usually the more expensive the car, the less they got. The guy in the 10 year old Nissan would tip $10, the Aston owner would tip $2. The Bentley owner wouldn’t tip period

My highschool shop teacher rolled the mileage back on a fox body that we put a 5.0 into. The mileage read what the salvage car had on the Odometer but still
