To me at least, high mileage is a good thing. The car was driven, taken care of. The worst thing you can do to any car is not drive it. Take it from personal experience, buying a 7 year old car with 10,000 miles...

It’s a generalization, but most women just like riding higher up. Ask 100 and I’m sure at least 70% will cite the driving position as a factor for the purchase.

You just made me want a Raptor more than I already do

Which is why Ford has the F150 and Escape, but the also the fiesta st/focus st and focus RS. Not to mention the mustang in all its flavors. I do realize Ford is a massive car company compared to Mazda but we can’t even have one Mazdaspeed?

Idk, a GT2 motor in my S197 sounds pretty badass

On the bright side they’ll probably be able to afford 6 Priuses

I can’t explain it, but I’ve always loved these

I was thinking something along the lines of replacing the bug motor with a Subaru unit as long as it would fit. $2900 isn’t too much to pay for something this unique

For real, my current job has me working exclusively on European cars and it’s really not bad. My fears have been completely alleviated (unless it’s a Volkswagen or Audi).

That’s my argument. It’s far better for the environment to buy a used car than a new one. However, that new car is being built anyway. I guess it’s a wash?

Because I have a feeling you’d like it, I saw this car on Obscure Cars for Sale about a week ago. It’s a Facebook page that people regularly post oddballs of the automotive universe. Hope you enjoy!

That pedestrian detection system sounds like it would go nuts in NYC

Not to mention those W8's sound absolutely wonderful

Damn dude I drive a Ford, calm down. The men and women who can afford these cars want the brand recognition. They’ll never drive it at the limit. It’s a fashion statement

It might not suck, but it falls in a price range saturated with cars of equal performance and more badge recognition.

Every time I see how many mustangs there are at car meets I really want to sell mine

Ah, could be

Yeah the rest of it is pretty dark under the car

Axles tie-rods and rust repair on a newer TDI? That sounds like a problem

I’ve never driven anything quicker than a 997 GTS, but that Fit ranks in the top 5 for the most fun I’ve had in a car
