I guess “big” would be a bad word. Have you been next to these cars? They’re pretty small
The M4 is an M3 coupe, which used to be called the M3 coupe (E92 if you will). How is calling an M4 and M3 inherently wrong? Unless there’s a ton of difference under the skin they’re the same car.
I’ve got a soft spot for these old boats. NP all day
Valid argument. I see your point. I used Taurus/S60 because of vehicle size
Never once said that, but the Opel Astra is not a US-GM product now is it? Compare a Volvo S60 to a Ford Taurus of the same year. Both owned by ford. I guess that means they’re the same
We aren’t taking interiors, we aren’t talking about what you touch. We’re talking about disassembling the car, the ease of which you can do so, and how much of an unnecessary pain in the ass it is. I’ve worked on Hummers, domestic cars of all sorts, and now work exclusively on aging European cars, I’ve never had any…
The platform was created for the European market, not American. I’m talking American GM. Your Impalas, Malibus, etc. Generally speaking, most GM products made for foreign markets are of a slightly higher quality.
Anything is possible with enough time and money!
Reliable and well built aren’t the same thing
Never said they were unreliable. Not once. And the saturns you have weren’t designed by GM, those are Opels. in addition you didn’t prove that they were well built, just the ones your family own still run
I wonder how light an LS2 T56 combo would be in a tesla shell. Maybe I’ll have to wait until they depreciate into nothingness to try it out
Working on cars for a living has shown me that unless your General Motors product has a LS/LT V8 and rear wheel drive your car was not built well at all and exists solely to make money for the Corvette/Camaro/Silverado lines
To be fair, the products Saleen makes are decent quality. You actually get most of what you pay for, the business end is different. With Hennessy it’s a complete crapshoot and he’ll steal money from you.
They could have brought the Caliber SRT4 motor up to emissions compliance and tossed it in a Dart and made a quick car. That’s the easy way out
Depending on the driving you do those tires probably don't even get up to temperature. I've got a set of Mickey Thompson street comps that have 24k on them.
Being next to ships that big in the ocean gives me ridiculous anxiety and I have no idea why. That video raised my blood pressure as well
I think the point is if you live in an apartment building your lot or parking garage won't have the charging points.
I suppose it's similar to driving a mustang or a corvette then. One has connotations of no self control and tank slappers, the other of balding grey hair and impotence. Won't stop me from owning either but you know you're being judged by enthusiasts
+1 for h3h3 productions
