Very true... but it’s hard to sustain the drama through Act III when everyone is a puff of char.

I much prefer Special Bulletin to TDA. It felt much more immediate and threatening; TDA was a still-fairly-abstract nuke exchange that you could certainly imagine, but which you didn’t really feel. Special Bulletin, however, was something that could have reasonably happened that very night. Much scarier for me.
