well, your ears are not fooling you. your brain that payed much to that stuff does. i produce 32bit 192khz music. there's no difference when on cd as a wav. there is while producing. not afterwards. not even on a high end system.

24bit is important while you PROCESS data. 16bit is more than enough once you have it processed to reproduce it. it's like jpeg. a good jpeg photo is good enough to look at, but not good enough to use photoshop effects and stuff on it.

i've no such problems with crosseye. and for glasses, it's tech dependent. as said, can't wait for the 3ds to see 3d without glasses. my point was, i would love to get some way to capture 3d pictures. the presentation afterwards doesn't matter to me much. but actually capturing it now would be nice.

I would actually enjoy to capture 3d photos with my camera. i like the stereoscopic 3d when doing crosseye. prefer this to flat 2d photos as memories. so far, i can only do that for completely static content (taking two pictures). a 3d display, well, can't wait for the 3ds, but till then, i don't know. never seen one.

yes, they talked about that. nokia can chose what ever hw they think will fit, but microsoft will determine if the experience is good enough on that hw. if not, they deny. they stated that in a recent interview.

I prefer to read it as "he consistently pushes consumers to the next step". But both work.

I guess such stuff will get fixed over time, so that buggy browsers (and firefox during 2010 and so far 2011 belongs to those, i'm doing some webdev, ff is quite annoying in its current state) will behave, too.
