I couldn't agree with this more, though it was hard for me to recover to give the second half as much of a chance. It was bad enough and I haven't been enjoying New Girl as much this year as some of the earlier seasons that I was considering quitting it altogether. I never loved Deschanel but the rest of the guys

You're forgetting the best part, the press conference the next day where Trestman talks about the "locker room being in a good place" and that they "practice well" and there "won't be any coaching changes".

I also may or may not have been a college thespian.

There were some really great episodes of Celebrity Poker and yet you can't find any of them anywhere. Good find on the last part of it recorded from someone's TV on Youtube (and I mean that sincerely).

Ohhhhhhhhhh, yeah

Come back Lisa

i also love the superlatives, though i am seriously missing the walmart praise. i hope it comes back later, there is nothing better than watching them pimp walmart steaks.

i fully support the idea of a gordon ramsey dating show. i am a sucker for terrible tv.

even maude died in latter day simpsons, but i can't remember if they tried to pull off that they were beloved

Awesome, I'll check it out, thanks.

After I posted I figured you meant the Melanie/Marko breakout but was too lazy to edit. Plus I really liked that Robson routine so any chance to bring it up is ok by me because Nigel hated it.

@stupidsexyflanders:disqus what other forums do you frequent? Since the AVclub has decided to cut back coverage here I need to get my fix, but I like the commentariat here and many other forums seem to be flooded with the screaming 13 year old girls you get on the show. I would read the "professional ballerina gets

"Where are the statues that come to life in the museum at night?" - If you're talking about the one about Van Gogh's starry night, I loved that (great song choice too), and it was a Robson routine, but if I recall Nigel ripped that one apart. You are 100% right though, those oddball ones have been missing.

really the only way we can get our fix is if we talk about the craft"

"This is mostly a place for reviews, not critical analysis"

I completely agree. Part of what feeds this I think is for certain people to "be a part of a conversation". I almost never post here, because I am almost always reading reviews well AFTER the viewing window. Hell my responses in this thread are already a day late. So I could see people consuming the criticism

I don't know, I think this goes back to the point of where the onus lies. Think of something that's huge in pop culture, say American Idol. If you don't want to know the winner afterwards you need to watch it before the next time you open any major news site because their picture WILL be plastered on the front page.

That's an excellent point. I didn't even know for example, that Vader being Luke's father was a surprise simply because I was too young to experience it fresh, it was so pervasive in popular culture when I grew up almost the only thing I KNEW of Star Wars was that fact. But would it have been cool to see that in the

My only counter argument to this, and to Todd's article, is to what degree is a spoiler acceptable? Spoilers ahead, I guess.
