I would agree IF the flight costs were reasonable. $81K for a 79 mile flight is not reasonable. Knowing “air ambulance bills were high” is not the same as getting a $81 K bill, especially when if she had been covered by Medicare the air ambulance company would only have been allowed to charge $10K.
