Um.... Lincoln Blackwood?
Um.... Lincoln Blackwood?
"You can roll it over in the woods, and it won't even care."
Clutch on my Volvo 1800 while I wait for the leafsprings for the Jeep J10 to show up.
And, if I recall (as is obvious), he's trying to die in the line of duty so his family will be provided for.
I've... I've seen this. Should I admit I've seen this? Crap, too late now...
When people ask me what my first car was, and I say "Capri," I have to explain, "no, the Mercury..." I would've been much happier with the Ford.
As a Miata owner, I 100% agree with the sentiments above. I believe I've also just found the perfect catalyst for the ultimate battle in sharing this article with a Miata group on Facebook. Let the fun begin!
My mother had an '89 2-door with a 5-speed. I loved it, even if the four-cylinder was a little stupid. I replaced the head for her when I was 19 (bad radiator, she kept driving, much crackage). That held for a bunch more years until a $14 "air injection valve" disintegrated and spread metal bits all over the innards…
Kill it with fire.
"Every day that a car doesn't kill you in Russia, is a day to laugh." Brilliant.
Have I mentioned yet today how much I love mine?
Oh. Oh dear. You just moved to this area, didn't you? I'm so sorry. Please disregard the link above. It's... um... in Raleigh, Oregon. Yeah. That's it.
So, I agree with you. Enough that I started poking on Craigslist. And I found this... they made a freakin' coupe. Even BETTER. http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/4593268444…
I'll hate it for you.
I had a '91 GT. LOVED it.
I've got an 1800ES. Parked near a blue M coupe at a movie theater one night. I was looking it over as I walked in; the owner and his son were looking mine over as they walked out. We were driving the other's dream car. No, we didn't trade... he wasn't stupid.
"Spotted in the tailgating field of last night's Toby Keith concert..." 'Nuff said.
Cheers! A little over 50k miles, bought it straight off the farm from the original owner last fall.
Mine's a Jeep AND a truck.
