You turds are why the Democratic party is a joke and will never regain power. Laws are not created by the executive branch, Congress is the branch that passes/enacts laws. Yell at congress, not Biden for abortion laws. Biden could be the reincarnation of George Washington with the dick of Abraham Lincoln and he still

I honestly just don’t want to know what comes next for the GOP. The Tea Party feels quaint compared to Trumpism. And since it seems like the party at large have happily crushed the acceleration pedal through the floor on their way to authoritarianism to please the crazies, what comes next for their base? The only

...What is it you think “involuntary manslaughter” means?

I’m saying this without knowing who actually wrote that line or the true intent behind it, but it’s totally Tina Fey’s style to take an old insult like that and make a reference to it with a joke. She’s done that a lot when people have insulted her, it takes the power out of it.

That’s not an excuse though, because Loh

Serious, adult people have to stop voting for ANY REPUBLICAN EVER.

House Republicans have “significant concerns” about Johnson’s abilities and whether he’s “in over his head.”

But I’m sure the Ohio GOP would look the other way if a woman was running as a Republican and forgot to list her maiden name. Because that’s just an honest mistake. /s

I was for Liz, too. As for Biden? He’s not Trump. That’s good enough for me, at least this time round.

This is why I thought we needed Warren as well. I’m fine with Bernie’s economic policies, but both his reproductive rights record and his tendency to mansplain why the economy was more important than anything else told me that anything that only affected women’s rights was going to be dropped by the wayside. Warren,

Bernie Sanders is better than Biden in his support for abortion rights, but he has repeatedly supported anti-abortion Democrats who including this one:

I wanted Liz, but yeah. Say what you want about Biden; he’s not interested in turning the US into a fascist nation and tearing apart the Constitution in the process.

No one’s saying it should be “enough” to pick that guy. Personally, I’m saying it’s the only sane choice. Is it perfect? No. Do I wish there were better choices? Sure. Will my taking an uncompromising stand somehow provide us with better choices? Absolutely not. It’ll just get that orange fuckstick a second term and a

All of that is fair criticism. I will just note that Trump will NEVER choose either of them to be his VP. He will only select someone who will never step out of line, never say something not already pre-approved, will never steal the limelight, and WILL CERTAINLY go against the constitution of Trump tells them to.

It was an adaptation of Taxi Driver and King of Comedy.

One thing I remember about the spring and summer of 2020 was how many—how very many—videos that were going viral of older white men just absolutely losing. their. shit. Trying to shove their way into stores without a mask (often assaulting workers and guards), kicking doors, screaming at people. Complete loss of any

Yeah, the COVID era turned a LOT of brains into fucking pudding. People on the online right went from swallowing a red pill to deep throating the entire fucking bottle.

Yeah, but that doesn’t take away from the fun of Halloween episodes that take place around Halloween and Christmas episodes that take place around Christmas.

Honestly, I’d settle for 13 episode seasons at this point, because even those seem to be getting rarer, with a lot of series just doing ten or eight. But 13 has always felt like a nice, sweet spot. . Enough to where you really feel like you’re getting scope and breadth, but not too many that you feel like they’re

I think Doctor Who would do well to return to that more episodic format. I kind of wonder if the model would’ve hewn closer to that if Moffat had been the original showrunner rather than RTD. The Moff excelled (IMO) at stories and arcs with shorter runs, but by the time he took over the expectation for the big season

I think there’s room for both, but for me Doctor Who doesn’t need season arcs, big bads etc. In fact I would say that I remember a lot of Doctor Who episodes from its modern era reboot but am very hazy on what any of the season arcs were all about.
