I did a Buffy re-watch just a couple of months ago, and I can’t believe that it took me so long to notice that Tara’s pretty much doing the ‘Wuthering Heights’ dance in this song. In general, this being a sapphic, witchy song full of insinuations, it’s (intentionally or not) one of the best Kate parodies out there:

“Get Out Of My House” is such a great introduction to Kate. When I first heard it as a kid it was such a weird mix of hilarious and haunting (Donkey noises! But also the wailing feels so guttural and authentic!) It both made me uncomfortable but also made me want to listen to it over and over again.

One of my favorite things about Stranger Things is how they turned the ‘alpha bully’ trope on its head with Steve. He started out as a shitty, abusive jock, then learned and evolved and became one of the series’ most lovable characters.
