I mean, I managed to see a lot of mature stuff as a child in the pre-internet days of the 80's, I can’t imagine how hard it would be to monitor what kids see now that they could find it on an iPad.

Aw, I thought that second video was super endearing.
I also do not watch Game of Thrones, but if they somehow released an edit that was nothing but the dragon scenes with no people, I would watch it with unmixed enthusiasm.
I just posted about this upthread! They roam in packs in my neighborhood in Emeryville (although I see them less nowadays). EAST BAY REPRESENT!
When I first moved to Emeryville there was a GANG of them that used to roam around in my neighborhood. They really are pretty scary in real life, and would literally just hang out on the street corner blocking the sidewalk like a bunch of hooligans.
First thoughts:
This is true. I actually DO tip fast food workers, but at some places they’ve told me that if they’re seen accepting tips they can be fired.
“People only have so much disposable income and if you increase prices 10%, they’re not going to be able to eat out as much.”
“Even IF you could just build one without a single permit, it still costs over $1 million dollars a mile to build a road that has any chance of lasting longer than 6 months.”
I’m going to be the wildcard and insist that the best record to own is ET narrated by Michael Jackson (with fold-out poster!) because it’s so uniquely bizarre that until I found it again at a thrift store I was CERTAIN it was a childhood fever dream.

“I know but, more than 5 years just seems really creepy to me”
I frequently tip in cash / pay on card, too, but I’ll write ‘CASH’ on the tip line and then write the total on the ‘total’ line. This is for two reasons; 1) so somebody who sees it later doesn’t think they got shafted and 2) if you just leave those spaces blank, an unethical person could write in ANYTHING there.
“I’d also like some unlimited money so I could finally do the 1970s Miss Piggy cosplay of my dreams, with a realistic silicone snout, great wig, purple satin accessories, all of it”
No, that’s legit. They said I couldn’t have one in my 20's. I finally got one in my 30's because my partner at the time had to stop using birth control for medical reasons, but even with that they threw up as many road blocks as possible.
Weeeaall, I’m sure the process is much MUCH worse for women, but I’m a guy and when I tried to get a vesectomy in my 20's, they absolutely refused saying I was ‘too young to know for sure’. I finally had my vasectomy at 33 and they still made me wait six months, take a class and see a counselor to make sure I was…
It was a Dark Crystal Fan Film competition. I got pretty much the last place possible to still be considered being in the winner’s circle, but it still got me the tour and meet & greet, so I’ll take it!
And it’s weird because every interview and story I’ve heard has made it seem like Cheryl was the warmest of the group, so this posting feels... jarring.
