You work for a company that frequently publishes alt-left articles that are just as openly antisemitic. You’re part of the problem.

Must be another Jeffro Tull then :)
I was pretty sure the UK doesn’t allow plates with ‘nig’ in them. Apart from the Nigerian ambassador, who has NIG 1 on his official car. The first time I saw it I did a bit of a double-take before I realised what it was.
People from countries where that’s not a racist epithet keep making that mistake when they first get to the UK. Generally Pakistani people seem amazingly understanding about explaining to yet another Eastern European that no, you can’t shorten Pakistani like that...
In all of the world except the US, it’s just an abbreviation. In the US it’s associated with the very nasty, extremely racist propaganda their government came up with during the Second World War. I won’t post examples here because, frankly, they’re absolutely vile. Google it if you want, but be warned, it’s really…
That would be because in every part of the world except the US, it’s just an abbreviation. It’s only in the US where wartime propaganda turned it into an offensive term.
Pig, as in donut-muncher. One probably saw someone with IH8P1GS or something, got offended, and then the DMV did a search for all the ones with pig in them.
You know ‘Jap’ is only a slur in the US, right? Everywhere else it’s just short for Japanese.
Really, why do you find this so hard? Of course tariffs reduce choice and cost consumers. That’s what they do: they are a fine on consumers who choose to buy the ‘wrong’ thing. Why were those people buying those things? Because they were the better choice. Therefore tariffs mean people are being taxed into buying…
Just like every other claim regarding the entire process, it’s not really true. The EU can do whatever it chooses, even if that requires making a new law.
Because he looks obviously evil. It actually says really damning things about how disgusting the Brussels lot are that when the UK held a ridiculous reality-TV style popularity contest between Farage and the EU - called it a referendum, hah! - it came out 50:50.
“You can not leave anymore without damaging your economy”
“This stupid lie matches what Farage said on Fox News hours earlier, when he said the deal would “prevent” a trade deal between the two countries, according to the site”
If they decide there’s an ongoing crime inside, they’re allowed to enter without a warrant. You are wasting police time by refusing to open the door to them; that is a crime; ergo, they can kick your door in if you won’t open it.
“Resisting arrest charges are ridiculous when there was no reason to make the arrest in the first place.”
As Tom Robinson* once sang, the victims of discrimination ‘resist arrest by being kicked to the ground’.
Just to be clear, it is legal to resist an illegal arrest. But that won’t get sorted out until a long way down the line, until then you’ll be treated as resisting arrest.
Isn’t that’s a spoof/satire? Unclesamsmisguidedchildren.com?
That’s what you just said, I’m only taking you at your word.
The real problem is that the new ‘some of my best friends’ is ‘I’m not antisemitic, I’m just anti-Zionist’.
