There is a very clear link between worse health outcomes and a lack of articulacy combined with an unwillingness to speak up and force things to happen (when necessary). I would tend to think that’s what explains the stats you mention.

The worst part is the utter perversion of who Lee actually was that they ‘memorialise’. If he was around today he’d completely disagree with the cunts who celebrate the myth.
“that traitorous, racist scumbag”
She’s had a series of well-paid permanent jobs, and is now earning enough to put her in the top couple of million people on the planet by income. There is simply no way she has any difficulty affording a roof over her head. She may have trouble affording luxury accommodation, but pretending that’s the same as being…
Is there an interpretation of your comment that doesn’t involve antisemitism?
I’d agree with you if I didn’t have so much trouble believing he (and many others like him) are nearly sane enough to be evil. Not as a matter of law, the legal definition of insanity is that you don’t know the difference between legal and illegal, but as a matter of fact.
You need to look at company car tax and the cost of fuel here to do that calculation properly. In this case the biggie is company car tax, but it’s worth pointing out that fuel savings over a few years would otherwise come into it quite significantly.
The cost of electricity and fuel are irrelevant, it’s about saving £ks a year on company car tax.
That has nothing to do with it. Company cars are almost taxed out of existence in the UK. They instituted a massive tax break for hybrids. That more than offsets the extra fuel costs - which are in any case taxed as if you’re paying them, not as expenses.
Hybrids do not get fuel economy as good as the optimum cars for highway use. This story is about people using them as fleet vehicles doing mainly highway miles, who’d use less fuel in regular cars, buying them because of a badly thought out tax break. We’re talking about £ks a year in extra fuel costs being offset by…
You’ve got this story completely wrong. It wasn’t the subsidy that made fleet buyers buy them, it was the company-car tax break.
Only problem here is that Ocasio-Cortez is indeed a rich person faking poverty. She’s lied about it flagrantly in an attempt to appear in touch with her voters despite being one of the richest people on the planet.
“Ocasio-Cortez is unquestionably one of the poorest representatives to be elected in recent years”
“the GOP and right-wingers can fuck off with this stuff. It’s just ridiculous. Their fear is showing.”
That’s an odd response to that idiotic comment, given that O-C has outright lied about the problems she faces in order to con gullible voters into thinking she’s one of them rather than a 0.05%er.
Regardless of the Fox cunts, it is still incredibly fucking offensive when O-C pretends to be poor while being in the top 0.05% globally by income. Just to put that in perspective, she’s one of the few million highest-earning people on the planet.
Ocasio-Cortez is firmly in the 1% by US standards, let alone globally, where she’s top 0.1% by income. Ultra-rich people claiming they can’t manage on mega-money are one step removed from antisemitic conspiracy theories.

Is there anyone not on Alonso’s PR team who’d put him much ahead of Kimi, let alone in the same class as Vettel? He’s a bit more than a mid-pack driver in terms of talent, but he’s such a vile person that he’s not made the most of that.
You reject the scientific consensus every bit as thoroughly as Trump. The claims you are making here are used to fuel demands for excessive action that the IPCC has said are effectively genocidally racist.
