Fair enough, I'm willing to stand corrected. Are you in the US or Europe, by the way? Is it possible that Volvo position the car differently in the two markets?

Nope. Is it any good? I might have to watch it.

"What Bond Car gadgets would you want on your car?"

"i actually have a pair of these being installed in my..."

I think you might be surprised about how hard it is to grey-import something into the EU these days. If it's not already type-approved - which a grey import wouldn't be - then you have to pay for the approval tests. Even if you jump through all the hoops involved in that, you'll then find that insurance will cost an

Didn't we have this discussion already? Is it post-storm Jalopnik oddness throwing this up again?

I have seen all kinds of pics of this storm. But although it's fairly large, it's nowhere near being the major storm it's hyped-up as. A big autumn gale isn't something you expect every single year, but it happens most years. Apparently everyone's having fun over-reacting on Twitter, though.

Texan rancher goes to Hungary, and gets talking to a Hungarian farmer.

Have they tried duck tape?

Eh?

That doesn't make it a major storm. That's about the minimum effect needed for a storm to be noteworthy at all.

There are enough different stats about any storm that almost every notable one is the biggest (or most dense, lowest pressure, whatever) in some respect or other. This is minor even on a decadal timescale, although it's a reasonably large storm.

Seems to me that you're entirely justified in running from a 'cop' who's going to shoot you without cause. Certainly, I can't see a charge for the driver of attempting to flee pursuit holding up in court under the circumstances, since it's self-evidently true that he had reasonable grounds to be scared of police

The cop(s) should be facing a murder rap - but you know instead the shot immigrant will be charged with hindering the police by stopping one of their bullets doing its job, or some such nonsense.

Loving the way the US media are managing to turn a pretty minor storm likely to cause localised brief flooding and a few temporary power outages into so many hits by drumming it up as some kind of disaster. Good to see Jalopnik playing its part.

Top tip: you will have a terrible time trying to do this if the ingredients are too cold, and since most people keep eggs in the fridge... Let everything warm up to room temperature before you start.

Glow-in-the-dark tuned GT40, anyone?

I'd rather see a world full of Aztecs than a world full of beige Toyotas. At least Aztec owners care enough about their cars to have paid some attention to the choice, even if their choice is in rather dubious taste.

"You missed Venus, [the late] Steve Jobs' yacht"

Nice. It's rare to see a superyacht with an interior that doesn't make me want to burn the whole thing.
