Still think the Aeroyacht 121 should have made the list. The Gunboat 66 will eat its wake once its actually built.

Apparently Berlusconi has one? And I think one of the Microsoft billionaires is supposed to as well. And Roman Abramovich may or may not have one - he made some comment about 'if you can find my sub you can have it' which either means he doesn't have one, or that he's very proud of how hard to find it is...
"some times you find yourself on a road trip, and you just want to take a couple hour nap, and would rather have a bed to lie on, than try to make your car's front seat comfortable, and don't want to get a hotel room?"
I'm trying to understand why you'd have a mini-camper over a car, but not go all the way to a larger camper. Motorhomes are much larger beasts (at least by my definition) but there are plenty of larger camper vans which are no more than a few inches larger than the VW and offer much more comfort - h&c running water,…
This would be a starting point:
The point is that density is important in judging severity - much more important than size. All other things being equal (including the total energy contained in a storm), increasing the size is a good thing* because it decreases concentration and hence the strength of the winds.
You have the facts wrong. Even the IPCC agrees there is no link between increased CO2 levels and increases in severe or extreme weather. It's ironic you mention storm frequency and severity increasing at a time when storm activity is at an all-time low, and has been for some years.
All auto industry awards are meaningless. That said, I'd point out that green awards shouldn't just be for EVs and hybrids, but for whatever is best for the environment overall. The new generation of small turbo petrol engines is an incredibly impressive development that we actually have on the market right now, and…
That's not the Gonzo spirit :/
"Hotels aren't always available in nowhereville when there's some kind of meetup or concert that you may be interested in going to."
"I'll pretend they are similar to my full size 4x4 fun van."
Did you see the bit where I asked about what would make the VW-size van preferable to other options - say either a larger motorhome/campervan, or a car and tent? What kind of camping trip would you go on where a van this size is the best possible vehicle?
But if you're doing the living out of a van thing, surely something bigger than the VW campers would be the way to go? I'm not knocking the idea of a mobile living space, just trying to understand where something this kind of size makes more sense than anything else.
What kind of camping?
Not many people know that Liberace owned a VW Bus. He had some pretty flamboyant cars, but a camper van.
For those prices, how about you just buy a cheap car and stay in hotels?
It's really hard to find anywhere it really admits where the cars were designed - but unless the guys in Vauxhall's major design centre in the UK are just sitting around surfing the web all day, they must be designing something :)
No-one's telling you not to do whatever you like with a consenting automobile if that makes you happy. But I know what the guy above is getting at. A lot of drifting leaves me cold. I've never quite put my finger on why, because I like watching rally driving and so-on.
Monaco, whilst the Grand Prix is on. Not open to all comers, I'll admit, but surely the single best place/time to drive on the entire planet?
Amusingly, that engine's pretty popular over here as a swap - largely because Omegas are so cheap as donor vehicles, but also because there aren't many cheap V6s around. You can get a decent runner (tax and test) with under 100k miles for less than £500, no trouble. Keep an eye on the small-ads and local ebay auctions…
