No, that might cause things to escalade.

Ow-dee.

Lately it's got to the stage where my insurance quotes go up each year despite me being a year older, a year more experienced, and having a year's extra NCB. It was supposed to get cheaper when I was >23, then they changed that to >25, now it's >30.

Don't think the plane can fly either, any more.

Top tip: if you're going to wreck the 'rents BMW, wait until after your older brother has killed himself in a car crash. Happened to a cousin of my wife's - apparently he called home and said 'I crashed the 5-Series' and got the response 'well as long as you're fine, that's all that matters'. Nothing like a road-death

I don't like it. But then I think the Z4 was BMW's modern design peak, so what do I know?

NP. A Harley Davidson edition F150 will set you back $50k. Unless I'm missing something - it doesn't actually come with a bike, does it? - that's more of an image/lifestyle truck than a workhorse.

It can be a good sales tactic. As soon as you wash it, people will think that you've done some work and are looking for a bit extra, or found something wrong, or whatnot, whereas if it still looks like it was just pulled out of a barn people think they're getting an untouched bargain.

Complete CP, in my book. 142k miles is pretty much moon-mileage by UK standards. Those things cost a fortune to service and repair. £9k would be a little steep for that one, I reckon. A good one will set you back about 12k.

Toyota Corolla/Carina/Camry - I don't care which, I want some good basic cars which do the job and run forever. Very little about a modern version is better than the old super-reliable pre-computer utility vehicles. If I could buy a brand new eighties Toyota for something close to the materials cost - because the

"Then I tried to teach him skiing. He fell all the way down the k2 on his very first run!"

It's nothing to do with Wikileaks, and everything to do with Assange very publicly challenging the rule of law. The authorities have to take this seriously because he's disputing their right to govern, legislate, police the streets, and so-on.

"The issue is that a UK citizen can commit a crime in the UK that isn't a crime in the UK but is a crime in the US and the US can extradite them"

"If Assange did what the victims are claiming"

If my understanding is correct, the treaty McKinnon will be extradited under only talks about extradition from the UK to the US - it's entirely unilateral. The US may extradite to the UK under another treaty, but they don't have the same obligation to do so.

"I'd always thought that a foreign embassy was considered to be 'foreign soil'. "

"it was dropped and then picked up again by a different prosecutor who 'judged' the allegations to be rape"

"To be fair, we extradite more people than the US does with regards to that treaty"

No, it's not hard. If you have non-consensual sex with someone, you have raped them. It would be considered rape here in the UK as well. Just because someone consents to one kind of sexual act doesn't mean they consent to all sexual acts - for an obvious example, consider a girl who's willing to give oral sex but not

Been a while here as well, but it's not too complicated. He apparently had consensual sex with both women before having unprotected sex with them without their consent. If I remember rightly, one was asleep, and he tricked the other into thinking he was wearing a condom when he wasn't.
