I don't think a helicopter would have diplomatic immunity like the car does. The flight would also be controlled by the UK ATCs, who could presumably order it to land wherever the police asked, or fail to give permission for take-off, or whatever.

From the start. He doesn't dispute the facts as presented by the Swedish police. He disputes that what he did should be considered rape, but Swedish law is completely clear on this one. As is UK law, for that matter. Even the French consider non-consensual sex to be rape, so Assange really doesn't have a leg to stand…
