It's always been the case that diplomats taking the piss out of diplomatic immunity may find it lifted. This is no different.

See the other answer I gave. He's (rather ludicrously) denying that what he did was a crime, not disputing any of the facts. He admits having non-consensual sex with two women. That's rape, plain and simple, whatever he'd like to pretend.

I don't think a helicopter would have diplomatic immunity like the car does. The flight would also be controlled by the UK ATCs, who could presumably order it to land wherever the police asked, or fail to give permission for take-off, or whatever.

Really? You think that's a worse crime than multiple rapes? It really is very simple: if he hadn't raped two women, he'd be free right now.

From the start. He doesn't dispute the facts as presented by the Swedish police. He disputes that what he did should be considered rape, but Swedish law is completely clear on this one. As is UK law, for that matter. Even the French consider non-consensual sex to be rape, so Assange really doesn't have a leg to stand

"I'd just like to point out that I don't think he should be extradited and I think there's been serious misuse of the EU extradition treaty by the Swedes."

I don't think Assange would go with any plan involving him blending into a crowd instead of attracting attention to himself...

It's in the news here today - even the BBC has it.

Apparently the UK is planning to rescind the embassy's diplomatic status so they can go in and get Assange - presumably only if the Ecuadorians refuse to give him up.

I'm sure it wasn't a ball of fun for the dog. Did it cause injury worth talking about, though? Probably not.

Kinetic energy involves v-squared. It's even worse than you'd think. Double the speed, square the energy in the collision.

Here in the UK we have a company called Whipcar, who rent out private cars - as in, you sign up with them, and they rent out your car. I've never understood what sort of person would let their car be hooned like that; I know how I treat rental cars...

If you have the CDW, you'll get the block lifted, though, whatever damage you do.

Rally Evo save?! That's a typical Evo commute.

SOL!

"How motivated do you need to be to be sitting and driving a super large road boat and never been asked what your name is?"

Isn't that pretty good money for a glorified cabbie?

Wow. A real yid-lid :)

That's one of the nicest cars I've ever seen on Jalopnik. You don't have a marriageable daughter by any chance?
