Doom Eventual
It’s not exploitative in that there’s no gambling in it (give that one some time, Acti-Blizz does love its loot boxes). But it’s still a cash shop in a full price game that includes a subscription fee. It still gets the kinds of things in it that previously would have come from playing the game. And it now includes a…
If you like the game you should be okay with the occasional micro transaction
“If you like the game you should be okay with the occasional micro transaction”
God, gamers have really fallen a long way.
i think it’d be way funnier if an invincible squad of hitmen just rolled up and gunned you down.
No you just put up a short bush and you can stop Genghis Khan.
I mean, i see what youre saying but its cosmetic shit, that comes fairly quick just by playing. While it might be shitty of them, it shouldnt by any means be a dealbreaker... especially this community with the shit ton of articles ive seen on the first game since that release
“IT’S COSMETIC” is the dumbest excuse you dumb people make to defend corporate bullshit. Sorry kid, we’re not letting that slide anymore. Cosmetics are one of the most important parts of games, especially multiplayer games. Go back to playing Facebook and phone games and quit ruining gaming for the gamers with your…
I’d like to say I’m completely disappointed in the comments here. I was expecting an all out fanboy flame war but most of them seem pretty civil. You guys are slacking. ;D (Maybe I should avoid the greys?)
Wow yes I agree! I’m seeing all this hype here and in my FB gamer groups for the XBOX (That’s mean abbreviating X Box One X, how about that?!), but I keep thinking... ok, it still plays the same games right? Just a little better?
I was late to this generation, so my first was the PS4 Pro. I don’t even have a 4K TV! One…
How about an XBox ONE X Box?
Arguably they’re just adding more bread in the sandwich analogy. If XB1 had meaningful exclusives then it’d be one thing, but there’s no reason to buy the X when the S exists. Power means nothing without things to play on it, like how the PS3 floundered near its launch despite being the clear winner for raw specs but…
I was in Best Buy just after it was released and they had a bunch sitting on the shelf.
Yep. If you already have a PS4 and you’re not a massive Forza/Gears/Halo fan, I have no idea why you would want an Xbox One X. It’s nuts how non-existent Xbox exclusives are right now, and I say that as a previous-gen Xbox guy.
I’m also probably going to lean towards PlayStation for the Japanese games and remote play.
I still don’t get the appeal here. Yes, a fantastic marketing campaign centered around it being the “most powerful home console system” will garner attention, but it’s also still only playing souped up versions of Xbox One games, no? It’s not like it’s getting proprietary software that just blows everything out of the…
The Xbox One X is going to go down like the Neo Geo. It’s the most powerful console of it’s generation but it’s price and lack of games is going to hold it back considerably.
As someone who generally uses consoles only for exclusive titles, the Xbox One has been extremely disappointing for me. I’ve been much more impressed with Sony’s lineup of games.
The xbox one x is going to flop. There are literally no games you need an xbox one x to play.
