I think the Amish buggies around here tear up the roads more. When I lived in AK they had a studded tire season, so after a certain date you had to have them off. Not sure if Colorado or Pennsylvania (where I live now) have a rule like that.

Yeah not many people seemed to run snow tires (rarely heard studded tires) there unless they live up in higher altitudes.
