I don’t get it...why can’t they just let me listen to music for the $9.99/mo. I cancelled my subscription today.
LOL...that last pic is going to give me nightmares or a wet dream tonight. I’m so confused.
Not really, but it depends on the engine...my last few trucks... 89 Yota 185K, 84 FJ60 212K, ‘00 XJ 210K (current rig) that I bought after I retired from the Air Force. I loaded that with a 1/2 ton of shit, drove across country from CO to PA at 80MPH with the A/C on. I bought it from my super vechiularlly-anal boss so…
I’m totally doing this to the next left lane hogging SUV I come up on.
True...just ain't the same without dirt.
I’m going to come un-hinged if this doesn’t come to PC.
And that’s why Prime costs $99/yr now instead of $69...
Pikes Peak International Hill Climb!
Yeah...I was being a little facetious. I just think a truck should be able to haul plywood or a couple scoops of mulch, etc. I'd love a 4-dr Taco with long bed.
So I buy one of these and still have to borrow my father-in-law’s F-250 when I actually need to haul something. What is that a 3” bed? I miss my $1500 89 4x4.
Hmm...The TuRD sticker on my ‘84 FJ60 subtracted about 20 mph.
Nice article. I was a military brat for 17 years before I joined the Air Force. Dad did a couple 1-year remotes and was gone for about 15 months for Desert Shield/Storm. I was blessed I didn’t have to do anything that long. Dad was a B-52 bomb builder...I moved only three times while I was a brat...I was in the UK,…
Wasn’t the Hummer story filed there too? The one where Doug left it on the streetand watched for reactions?
Took the ‘00 XJ (Jeep) to the local shop here in PA for registration/inspection. They couldn’t believe it had 220K miles and no rust. Guy told me he put in a free foglight bulb & handed me back my keys and said, “Man, that is one clean XJ!”
It may be my inner caveman, but fire (preferably wood-based) and beef is all you need.
Yeah...I'll wait for them to go on sale during the holiday or something. I just can't seem to pay $199 for the top one on Amazon...
Blasphemous. But if I get a sous-vide I’ll try it.
Yeah I’m a Jeep and Yota lover. Hell, I’d love to have a CJ or Wrangler if I didn’t need more room for the wife, kids, dog and fishing/camping stuff. I had the 89 4x4 Pickup and an ‘84 FJ60 while I lived in Colorado. Now I have an ‘00 XJ. Any true 4x4 is pretty capable with the right person driving it.
I did that in my 89 Toyota 4x4 pickup several years ago. Stock except for 30” tires and an Aussie locker in the rear. I remember one real tight, scary corner that seemed like you had to hang the front tires over the edge. Nothing real technical...a spotter you trust, not being too scared of heights and some good…
