Sold my FJ60 this weekend and bought my boss' '00 XJ Classic.
I took my 74 Dart Swinger w/ Slant 6 to an autocross back in the late 90s. Had bias plys and the original shocks in the rear. Those cones didn't have a chance... I wish I had video of that.
Another good thing is my dad has 3 of these sitting at home. One had rust issues so it's parked but still runs. Another blew a head gasket but he still uses it for moving hay and other stuff around the property, and the other had the dash wiring catch on fire. I'll have spare parts for years. :-P
As soon as I sell my FJ60 I'm going to pick up my old bosses 2000 XJ Classic. I'm retiring from the Air Force soon and I need something to drive back to PA. The old 60 doesn't do so hot on the highway.
