It’s a sign of the decline of America. I would like to think it’s a recognition that cars last longer and you can conserve environmental and financial resources, but it’s not because Americans since WW2 have been rampant consumers.

seeing only the headline, I am assuming you bought it for parts

For toting kids, it doesn’t get better than the minivan.  Also, have you tried to fit a motorcycle in an SUV?  Not happening.  Minivans?  Yep.

here you go

but really, who cares?

Yes, the Prius Prime finally has five seats now.

Fuck, it was hard enough finding 3 friends that didn’t mind riding in this thing.

This right here. I bought a new car about a month ago and it was great - up until the GD finance manager. I literally told him before he started I would not be buying anything from him and that I was only paying exactly what I had already negotiated. He got pissy with me and then told me he was “required” to tell me

It’s more complicated to order dinner for 4 on GrubHub than it was to buy a Model 3 online from Tesla. Picking it up took perhaps 30 minutes (and the dealer was swamped!)  It doesn’t have to be this way.

It hurts how much this is true. I have corporate experience relating to dealers. Once you see how the sausage is made, it confirms all that you thought you didn’t like about dealers.

It’s funny too, because the end goal doesn’t seem that crazy when it comes to the dealer experience.

Maybe they just need one more customer satisfaction survey.

I don’t have that list for 2018, but a well selling car will sit on average for 30-40 days.

Husband makes decent money.

I missed the part where it said it was a new Silverado?  Could have been a 20 year old hand-me-down for all we know.

I’m sure he’s sorry.

Alternate headline

Seriously. And how does anyone think deploying spike strips on a road that has a corridor of stopped cars filled with people is a good idea?

And if people didnt break laws and run from cops to begin with, this stuff also wouldnt be needed.
