All the SEMA builds I’ve seen on TV are a bunch of guys running around in the last 12 hours screaming at each other how they’re not going to finish in time to get the car on the truck for Vegas (and random showers of sparks in the background).

To my mind, SEMA Build says one step above Pimp My Ride quality.

Future generations: “Pfft. Can you believe our parents’ phones only shot 3,200 megapixels?”

Remember when Montana went to Reasonable and Prudent and had to go back from it because people went “oh you mean a speed that far outstrips my actual driving ability?”

Well, that didn’t take long.

Retire them, along with big wedding, engagement parties, baby showers, and all other events that have gotten WAY out of hand.

What’s incredible is this study was able to figure out that not only did Sturgis go on this year in spite of COVID, it looks as if it specifically attracted the least safety-conscious people possible.

Seriously, Erik’s take on the GM-Nikola deal is particularly terrible. GM buys in a lousy 11% share with the opportunity to appoint a board member, in exchange they get a built-in customer for their EV tech, for as many vehicles as Nikola can manage to sell. It’s a bet, and a pretty small one at that.  I don’t see

The guy only knows how to talk shit about GM

You pretty much summed it up. My favorite part was this:

OK, just let me get this straight. GM is selling cheap EV’s in China, made for China, in China and couldn’t possibly sell them in America do to pretty much everything from regulations, cost, and and actual market segment that doesn’t exist in America, so fuck them for not doing this. GM then makes partnerships with

It blows head gaskets and damages the bolts. Nothing catastrophic as it usually doesn't damage the metal surfaces but annoying. There’s no telling how often they’ve been replaced.

A lot of the love for the El Camino is for the earlier models. By the mid-70's on they got hit with that same ugly stick that most of the cars of that era were hit with when automakers started to put fuel efficiency over everything else. People buy late 70's and 80's El Caminos because they can’t find an affordable

You have to change the cam, heads and intake as well as adding a fuel pump and distributor. Changing the heads changes the compression ratio. They just altered the 350 block for diesel use so all the parts fit without alteration.

If you where at a ballgame you would pay 7 bucks for a Coors, this is 70 dollars for a warm can of Coors.

Helen Keller would be the only person to say ‘nice price’ and she isn’t around anymore.

race to the bottom

SSSHhhhh. You aren’t allowed to use that sort of reasonable logic.

100,000 dollars for this?! HahahahahhahahahhahahahhahahahahahhahahahhaaahhahahhahahhahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahaFord Expeditionhahahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahhahahahah

I recently had their new SUV behind and next to me on the road. It’s a cartoon car. The dimensions are completely out of whack, it’s an absurd vehicle.
