we have a required quarantine for folks that travel by air or travel to hot spot states. For fuxsake, my org should be extending that mandatory quarantine to the stupid jackasses on staff that decide Sturgis is too good to pass up.  This will be the largest infection vector of this pandemic. This will have the legacy

This is a week long event too, so the local hospitals will get impacted as some people will get likely get sick on site. This is so incredibly stupid.

Fun fact: Shimano used to outsource their retail packaging to my boarding school. Yup, I helped pack Shimano reels and rods into their respective retail boxes and plastic clamshells. Lots of kids stole the reels...lol

It never looks like a floating roof - it just looks like nissans have winged eyeliner on their rear windows.

If consumers actually put their money where their mouth is then “cheap and sensible” would be dominating the market. However, it’s not. Nobody will bother to build vehicles that consumers don’t want. I mean... would you invest your money to make and sell something that you lose money on?

These cars were ugly when new with much better options for a baby wagon on the market. They are still ugly today.

This doesn’t sound like “bullshit”.

Leave it to Jalopnik to somehow contrive a headline that makes GM look like the bad guy in this story.

I’m totally behind GM on this one. I hate their cars, but what FCA and the UAW cooked up is dirty, and it’s fucking the workers too. Lock em ALL up.

A competitive advantage of billions of dollars through backhand deals isn’t whining.

Been posting since last year under this name, and you are free to read my many comments on various car topics.

I agree with @982>981, and I’ve been here for years under my current name.

Asked Erik “why?” just minutes ago. There seems to be a tilt against GM, H-D, and a few others these days.

Erik,

Jalopnik Is Back On Its Bullshit Headlines About GM

I’m really conflicted about unions in this country.  On one hand, it’s clear that declining unionization has decreased the wages for blue collar workers, but on the other hand the fucking corruption in these unions is completely out of control.  I guess it’s nothing new, Hoffa and all.

I like reading Dave’s stories and think he’s a cool dude, but I would NOT want to live next to him. Aside from all the junky Jeeps littering the lawn, he’s been known to go “off-roading” in the backyard. No thanks.

Allow me to retort, I don’t want someone in my neighborhood to keep their property looking like a shit hole with broken down junkers all over the fucking yard. You want to live like that, move out into the country when no one can see it.

Cool. When your festering shit-heap of a property violates city ordinances, you will clean it up or move and none of your chest-beating will stop that. The only thing you will have accomplished is making yourself look like a selfish asshole to your neighborhood.

Good job. Your neighbor’s property values thank you.
