I would be profoundly pi**ed if I got less than 100K from any vehicle. I had over 120K on an 82 Pontiac Phoenix before giving it to a family member. I had 140K on an 80's Escort. These days we move the highest mileage vehicle to a new home because my company restricts the time a vehicle can be used for business. Last

I had a coworker with one of these.  I still have good memories of that car.  It always seemed very reliable and a great highway cruiser.  NP from me.

Does the owner re-enact OJ chase scenes with the white Bronco? I am not a wanna-be cop nor do I want a parade car for the 4th. I can’t imagine there is a $21K market for a nearly 20-year old restored maybe police car so ND for me.

For me, it started when Stef Schrader left. She was a car nut, a happy soul, and a good writer. After that, it seemed the flood gates were opened for departures. I’m happy she has found a home elsewhere.

That reads weird.  I really would miss Rob’s page if it weren’t here.  Where else can you group kick the tires on someone else’s listing.

I want nothing to do with this, but it is a nice price.

I bookmarked this page only.  I wouldn’t miss Rob’s offerings.  I will look at The Morning Shift if I need a laugh.  Rarely anymore for a front page visit.  The talent drain was too much.  The topics have lost my interest.  It’s been a sad slide...

This one has a real chance to be in the bottom 10 ND’s of the year. One guy at work has one of these. I see it once, maybe twice, a year. I never understood these. It’s not a car. It’s not a motorcycle. If you want the pleasure of a motorcycle with three wheels they are available.

$6,000-$8,000 isn’t much of a difference. The on-line “auction” site appears to have listed two cars total for on-line auctions including this one with neither auction successful. They claim to have two more coming in the future with a promise of no fees to the first 100 sellers to list vehicles. It seems a data point

At 8:45 eastern the current troll count is 21.  It’s seems reasonably well done for a kit car.  $8K is probably closer to what it is worth.  No one should ever build or buy a kit car with the thought of eventually flipping it for serious coin. $35K for a toy opens a lot of opportunities for something more exciting

It’s a huge number either way.  Having owned station wagons, a Jeep, and sport utes, I’m still surprised at how many people wouldn’t think of owning a station wagon when that body design successfully meets so many needs in a layout that is much easier to drive.

I agree completely but think the reality is closer to 95% never go off road.  These days that number may be even higher with the number of Jeeps bought for daily drivers.

I’m an atheist as well, but saw the headline and the first sentence and thought even Raphael had jumped the shark beyond his usual low standards this morning. The site picked up with the addition of Mercedes, but the talent gap  here is still huge.

Agreed, when this pandemic started, they threw everything at the wall to “protect” people while totally failing to acknowledge this is an airborne virus. There is zero reported evidence of surface touch transmission.

That has been the name I have seen when opening this page for a long time.

We had one of these.  It was a reliable, tossable, fun ride.  This is a mess.  ND

We had a planned hiking trip in Canada for last summer after I finished business in Spokane. Neither trip happened.  Maybe 2022 for the hiking trip.

Since there really is no NP/ND market for this, I am voting with my heart today. I really want this.  I’m glad it’s winter; otherwise, I would be begging my wife to burn some unused vacation for a road trip to Canada.  NP from the heart here.

Cruising into your local Cars and Coffee would certainly result in a ticket and a tow. (fixed)

This is near the floor for a running GTI of this vintage and condition. It would need a long long at the mechanicals. The steering wheel is aftermarket. It is not the original GTI. Interesting car and most likely an NP.
