The manual is rare and a nice option.  163K on the ODO at this price pegs the ND meter.  For my taste the chrome wheels are a terrible choice for a fairly rare 90's car.  This was a beautiful car and stood out for the time.  It’s price makes it ND although there may be a buyer out there who really wants the manual.

Warranty and service dollars are a huge incentive.

Agreed. I am very left leaning. I may be the only member of senior management to hold those views. I respect that my colleagues have different views, but I would be concerned if the company showed direct support any candidate no matter what political views the candidate held.

This is apparently not enough for car companies to stand behind...

I owned an early 70's Duster. I was crazy for that car until a DUI crossed center and took it out in a head on collision. Fast forward to now. I wouldn’t want one even as a fun toy. This isn’t expensive for a rare old car, but I don’t think it is a rare old car many would want for a long-term relationship.

I agree with the seller being bored or knows something expensive is about to cost money, but there is a third... Oops I did all this work and it isn’t any fun to drive. I’m guessing that may be the answer here.

You really didn’t include any data. US vehicle sales in 2109 were ~17 million units. At the end of last years the industry was predicting a 2020 decline of a half million units to 16.5 million. September sales volume was on pace for 16.3 million annually with the entire 3Q sales volume at 15.4 million. With the supply

Agreed. Unless your heart is set on a Pathfinder or a 2-door, there are plentiful 4Runner choices for this money.

From a standpoint of job stability this is an uncertain economy. Holding cash and financing makes more sense than normal times. Even in normal times if the lending rate is attractive enough, borrowing can be advantageous to paying cash.

I always hope there is enough car demand to convince manufacturers to provide offerings to those of us who like driving cars, but your statement is way off base. Trends change and vehicle laws like car seats for children change.  I’m fairly certain a number of parents find loading the kids in a crossover preferable to

This is the same Tracy who was telling everyone a 255k Minivan was worth considering for $2500.

Do you mean no one gets up every morning thinking, “Damn, if I could just buy a hot Yaris today.”

It’s interesting that this is sporting a temp tag in the image. It makes me wonder if the current owner decided this was too far gone. My brother had one of these with the auto. I liked the space but thought it was one of the least comfortable vehicles I ever road in.

I think you are missing the point.  Most COVID spread is through social events at this point.  NO ONE is making a college student attend a restaurant, bar, or party without social distancing or wearing a mask.

If this thing had two Trump flags on the handle bars someone would buy it.

I once saw a $16,700 carved chain saw at Tamarack in West Virginia.  I may not have a great eye for art since I wouldn’t put that in my home.  Who am I to judge this Harley as art?  I wouldn’t want this either.  Since this is a transportation blog and this Harley seems like lousy transportation in its altered state, I

I’m surprised at the number of NP votes here. This wasn’t the lowest of the lows as there was the Yugo, but these were turds with tires. This is a turd with a damaged bumper skin and a fart can.

That’s a given. Seeing someone past a certain age not wearing a mask sadly is a good idea of that person’s voting preference.

I have heard of people doing this. It is a good solution.  Thanks!

What a strange response.
