Yes, please elaborate on the dangers of lead acid batteries vs Li-Ion. I’m just asking for a chemical engineer with battery experience.
I believe picking the bike up if it falls qualifies as an active lifestyle.
That can’t be unseen. It’s like they thought, “We’ve got a winner out front, let’s balance it off with a nasty rear view.”
Agreed touchscreens are bad, but this is a touchscreen. They do deserve points for the size and shape of the touchscreen. I much prefer this configuration to the oversized tablet.
The image of this near-luxobarge being hooned off-road is pretty funny. Yes, I will pay a ton of money for a vehicle with completely inappropriate off-road wheels and beat on it off road. /s Are they really sure of what their market is or does everyone who buys a Navigator (this vehicle’s target) have nightly dreams…
They both look like they need an orthodontist.
Does climbing in and out of a tall truck count as an active lifestyle? How about climbing into the bed at the self-serve wash to clean the top of the cab? I’ve seen a few people doing this lately.
sexless? hmmm... you’re getting bad data.
Subaru’s response was correct.
They are perfectly reasonable cars. We have owned four. None had issues keeping with traffic. There was plenty of power for passing. The first had 205K when we sold it. The second has 195K and will be leaving in the spring. The third has 80K and the newest has ~4K. We do regular maintenance.
I like the Flex design and this color. It’s like a low-riding SUV. This one is too pricey for its condition. I would also be asking a lot of questions about the hitch and what this pulled. CP for me.
Good Luck! I am sorry to see you leave as I am sorry to see the other talented team members move on. I’ve enjoyed your professionalism, your writing, and your devotion to cars.
Buses are inconvenient because there is a ridership load required to make them work. Try living in an area with weak public transportation and a job that leaves you out of work at an odd hour. In many cases public transportation is very limited or non-existent on a 24/7 basis.
Or we could make better utilization of the land. Huge metro areas are the root cause not vehicles. Maybe New York, Chicago, Los Angeles are a wee bit too large.
Oh, but they do drive whenever they are loaned a vehicle from a manufacturer to test drive. There is a warped sense of reality from much of the staff. They have a vision of a world which won’t happen. Even if the USA stopped driving cars, there are many, many other places in the world where that won’t happen
These wagons were never plentiful and are getting really rare especially in AWD. If this is the car of your youth’s dreams, this is a nice price. It doesn’t do anything for me. The AWD is interesting, but it doesn’t really add anything to the car. I can’t imagine wanting one of these in an automatic so the manual is a…
If you live in an area where winter weather is an issue, the existence of a rear defroster and working front defroster and heater knocks out the whole comparison. The handling with even the lowliest new car is far superior to anything on the market in 1967. Throw in the improvements in fuel economy and performance…
This will find a buyer at or near the price, but I do wonder about the hood always shown in a released position. I also wonder if that strange corner sectional in the background is their showroom. Ewww NP. but not for me.
I have an office in Spokane and loved visiting Hastings when in the area. I never found much to buy, but they were worth a visit to get me an evening closer to going home. Nothing beats CL for random car shopping. Turn off the dealer ads and wander through the listings. Facebook marketplace near home seems to be…
