It's one of my biggest pandemic pet peeves. It's crazy how little people understand about the idea of ventilation, which seems fairly simple. "But it's outdoors!" So was every building before you put up walls and a ceiling. 

This one Italian place that I love said they had “outdoor seating” and a “heated patio”. What they really meant was that they converted their outdoor patio space into an indoor space thus making it no longer a patio, just another room.

Baller move. Yeah, don’t tell people things will be outside and then just construct a building in an outdoor space. That just makes it inside again! I’ve seen so many restaurants do this - offer outdoor space, then essentially build another building in the street with four walls and a ceiling. You just recreated…

I’d consider giving Superman & Lois a chance.  So far, Season 1 has been the best made-for-television Superman story in my book.  It’s well acted and well written.  It doesn’t have that “CW Look” to it.  It feels like they spent money hiring a good cinematographer and it shows.  It’s the only thing I have appointment…

Again, not defending the behavior — but if you’ve ever heard him at a Con discussing Torchwood, especially with Eve Myles as well, it seemed like a relatively common thing with most of them in terms of nudity, off-colo(u)r jokes, etc...

Just so I’m understanding: John Barrowman did some really crappy things in 2008 (and probably before). He was formally reprimanded. He apologized. He hasn’t done said crappy things since then. He is now being cut out of things due to these issues 13 years later.

I was thinking when I saw this headline, that this has gotta be the least surprising celebrity to have sex scandals.

Now, I’m right there with you as far as the concerning amount of control companies have over products we already bought and paid for... But I think most of us have a pretty good idea where the line is drawn, and when we’re crossing it. I mean, come on. 😏

This is always the kind of thing that scares me. Not being banned for selling something like that — it seems like a stupid idea no matter which way you look at it. But the amount of control these companies have over your games is ridiculous, and you never quite know when you’re doing something you may get banned for…

Also make that section completely air-tight.

Good! I know a person on Facebook who keeps posting that we should have compassion (which is code for not yelling at the mask-less in stores) and post stories about the mask-less who claim they have a medical condition and got harassed. My thoughts on that is you should get a doctor’s note saying you have a condition…

And this is one of the reasons I will continue to fly Delta.

Awww, it’s a good story, Yummsh! It transcends class boundaries. Everyone wants to look cool in front of their kid. Eight year old children can’t realize the extent of privilege, so there’s an entirely innocent joy at play here that makes this feel pretty nice.

I get to write about video games for a living, have cheap rent (thanks Kansas!) but also have fast internet because I live near Kansas City.

Make it a comedy about a couple who also happened to have taken vacations in Metropolis and wherever Shazam takes place and you might be on to something.
