It's one of my biggest pandemic pet peeves. It's crazy how little people understand about the idea of ventilation, which seems fairly simple. "But it's outdoors!" So was every building before you put up walls and a ceiling. 

This one Italian place that I love said they had “outdoor seating” and a “heated patio”. What they really meant was that they converted their outdoor patio space into an indoor space thus making it no longer a patio, just another room.

Baller move. Yeah, don’t tell people things will be outside and then just construct a building in an outdoor space. That just makes it inside again! I’ve seen so many restaurants do this - offer outdoor space, then essentially build another building in the street with four walls and a ceiling. You just recreated…

Now, I’m right there with you as far as the concerning amount of control companies have over products we already bought and paid for... But I think most of us have a pretty good idea where the line is drawn, and when we’re crossing it. I mean, come on. 😏

This is always the kind of thing that scares me. Not being banned for selling something like that — it seems like a stupid idea no matter which way you look at it. But the amount of control these companies have over your games is ridiculous, and you never quite know when you’re doing something you may get banned for…

Awww, it’s a good story, Yummsh! It transcends class boundaries. Everyone wants to look cool in front of their kid. Eight year old children can’t realize the extent of privilege, so there’s an entirely innocent joy at play here that makes this feel pretty nice.

I get to write about video games for a living, have cheap rent (thanks Kansas!) but also have fast internet because I live near Kansas City.

I actually hope he never does a “gaming” video other than the kind he does now.

Brutal Legend is a criminally underrated game. I’ve never been so disappointed to know a game didn’t have sequels as when I finished that one. Finding out how fun BL was (and what an insane soundtrack it had) was one of the most wonderful surprises I’ve ever had playing games.

YouTube intentionally doesn’t feature creators they don’t see as family friendly, because they have to promote their platform to advertisers. Okay, it’s unsettling how obvious it is that that kid is Jack Black. That is an immortal, unstoppable brow.

It’s funny that he always says that, but is actually playing/ educating the masses on old games and consoles. Not that there aren’t a wealth of channels that already do that. Just none of them quite like Jack.
