There are some walkable neighborhoods in Houston. There’s about 20 restaurants and a Kroger and CVS within walking distance of my house. We have some highrises and dense apartment complexes too but I prefer having a house and yard.

My first trip to the USA and the first time I had drove a LHD car (in fact, the first time I had driven outside of the UK) was in Houston. Just to make it even better, a huge storm had come through and many of the frontage roads running parallel to the highways were flooded.
