ehhh, if a Camry caught on fire and took out the garage and another car, then huge red flag. But a Viper trying to do it seems par for the course.

I worked close with metal foundaries for a part of my job (I was responsible for production machining cast parts).

Given their penchant for merchandising, a Harley Davidson coffin seems plausible - black and chrome, etc.

You gotta tell us, what cars did you buy in 1965 and 1968??

Cool to see someone your age active on this site, I love the insight brought to the table by the older commentariat. Thank you!!!

The used market is insane.

One should not underestimate the value of personal experience. I bought my first car in 1965 and my first new car in 1968 and have bought a variety of new and used vehicles since then. I have had my best experiences buying cars new and keeping them for a long time, 10+ years. I am old enough, 74, that I will likely

No. The idea behind the C8 is that it’s a value. It’s the same way I feel about crypto-bros hoarding all the good GPU’s right now. Or the people buying up all the PS5's just to stick them on eBay.

Just by adding struts to the top corners would make it massively more stable.

It’s like when people buy a place under the flight pattern of the local airport and then bitch about the jet noise.

While I generally find the “all gentrification is evil” narrative pretty limited, to me this is just called: Do Your Research. Figure out what happens in a neighborhood, decide whether or not you’d be happy to live there, and then sign your lease accordingly. Don’t show up and mess with the lives of the people who

I’m glad I’m not the only one wondering who let Austin Powers drive the ship.

So it drew a dick, then got stuck in the mouth of the Suez and there aren’t enough seamen with enough thrust to push it out. And the longer it’s in there, the more screwed we are...

Yeah this screams “$200 non-refundable application fee that won’t be rolled into rent/deposit” to me

That was common when pickups were primarily used as work trucks. There are still neighborhoods with ordinances like that. But today, they just prohibit “commercial” vehicles or lifted off-road vehicles.
