Controversial opinion: The E46 looks like shit and it’s only beloved because it was the generation immediately before the one that made the purists angry.
I will thank them the instant they stop trying to ban what I like.
Great post and I mean that sincerely.
I personally find it hilarious that, on any given day, I can be sneered “for destroying the planet” (an actual note on my Tundra in my previous neighborhood), followed almost immediately by “your EV is stupid and you’re a hippie” when I run errands in the eGolf.
It’s only trucks that need to justify themselves to this type of person by working at their capacity all the time too.
I’ve always found it weird that people concern themselves with what other people are buying. I have a truck. It’s really no one’s business other than my own as to why I have a truck. I don’t need to justify it to anyone else. These same questions never get asked of people with sports cars or people with motorcycles.…
Bangle caused a shock in the luxury automotive world, and it took other companies years - even decades - to catch up.
Well, we’ve hashed over BMW designs a lot here. One more time. It ain’t that bad. But that’s a long way from good. Of course, with their new designs, they’re resetting the scale, so maybe it is good?
From Car and Driver: “NHTSA said it suspects that the problem comes from the positive terminal of the 12-volt battery shorting on the battery’s hold-down frame. ... camping is a pretty weak word, but I concede your point. I think that he may have been making a legit pass. I know that even if I’m doing 80 on I15 there always seems to be some turd burglar coming up on me at 95 out of nowhere and getting right up behind me in the left lane, even if I’m using it to pass slower…

Eh, sounds like victim blaming a touch. Things we know:
The attitude in this article is astounding.
I do see where you are going with this, but as someone who dates a Native Canadian, it really is not as much an issue as you let on. Are you native? I would be interested to hear your personal opinion if so.
Mustang is offensive to horses and appropriates their identity...Lamborghini models are offensive to fighting bulls, and don’t get me started with Jaguar. Pontiac was offensive too to Native Peoples, why was its name never changed?
my 2 cents are to avoid Subaru as I’ve found their bushings and links don’t love rough roads for long periods of time. At least the older models don’t. Avoid the CR-V because it has the worst AWD system in its class.
It’s based off of your browsing history, pervert
Any combination of dangerous conditions and OTHER PEOPLE. I drove a FWD compact car (late 90's Chevy Cavalier) hundreds of miles on a highway you couldn’t see and through snow deep enough to literally push over the hood of the car.
