I saw a video of one of these basically disintegrating in a crash on the Nurburgring once. It was the most impressively fast dismantling of a vehicle I’ve ever seen.

Well, when you don’t care about gaps and general fit and finish you can just decide you don’t need that last round of die and mold tuning.
It’s a double edged sword, because everything they do to move themselves forward pisses the hell out of their core old loyal fanbase.
To add to your point and give some perspective, cars are basically feature complete 2-3 years before they start production. It’s those 2-3 years of development, prototyping, and testing that make them ready for the customer.
I’m investing in extension cords.
I’m imagining that this will be similar to the H1 in the way the current Blazer is similar to the K5 blazer.
Is ARB the company they’ve been making fridges for? I’d be interested in seeing how the two compare to each other.
Wow. Insane level crack pipe.
I feel like they really only look good in Rubicon trim. A lot of the display table auto show ones had a 2" lift and 35" tires. Once the big tires and other off road stuff comes off, the look goes from rugged to ugly.
I always lock mine, and stress to my wife that hers need to be locked as well, because they both have HomeLink and can open the door to the garage if left unlocked (we have 4 vehicles so our dailys stay in the driveway). The door from garage to house is still locked at night, but that leaves a lot of tools, toys, etc…

Back in early 2017, my dad traded in his 2004 Acura TL with 245k miles for $7 or 8k. I forget the exact number. The dealer listed it for $11k! I don’t know what it went for, but they sold it within a few weeks and he saw it on his commute several times.
Looks like they’re testing it with slider bars? That’d be cool if they offered it as an option.
Interior looks great from that angle, except the screen in front of the steering wheel that’s missing a glare visor/shield of some sort.
How much of the remaining core staff are really car people at all?
The weekend motorsports cover person is no longer with Jalopnik.
I can’t tell if Yang understands tech but is using fear mongering tactics, or if he doesn’t understand tech and is in fear himself.
There needs to be something in between the Infiniti system shown int he video and what my Rav4 has. It’s mostly capable of self driving on the highway, but it needs CONSTANT driver feedback or it just shuts off. I can have my hand on the steering wheel staring straight out the windshield and it’ll freak out and turn…
I mean, we used to give my one co-worker crap all the time about his old Nissan Sentra with peeling paint, no A/C, and heat that was only full on or off, but that was friends making jokes with one another. We didn’t actually care.
4th Gear: I’d be willing to bet that the automakers who decided to side with Trump did so because they thought fluffing his ego and giving him a “win” now may help future negotiations with him.
