All that this test did was show that the Tesla truck weighs more than the F150... which is the entire point of the F150.  It was built to be light.  Its lightness actually increases its payload and towing capability.

The point is that these tug of wars or pull offs or whatever they call them is that they’re pointless and don’t really indicate anything other than which truck has more weight over the rear axle.

The other trucks are using the SAE rating system which is limited mainly by cooling capacity. If not for that test, they could all easily tow a lot more weight up an incline with their 400+ lb-ft of torque.
