That’s why a $60K corvette is about 100x more exciting to talk about than the Chiron.  Normal people can actually aspire to buying one.

If we can’t celebrate the engineering beauty behind these vehicles (ignoring the dark past), then we should probably stop celebrating our early space program accomplishments as well.

Haha always an outlier to make the “above average” look puny.

Alright, one question. Is anyone on your staff 6'3, and have they tried sitting in a Cadillac ATS? Its interior makes a Yaris look like a school bus.

I’ve put 110k miles on a 2016 Avalon Hybrid in the past 3 and a half or so years, and would definitely recommend it.

I know a lot of people love to poo-poo on the Avalon because they’re not so exciting, but as a fellow high mileage driver (110k miles since I got mine), I don’t know how I could go with much else. I’m also larger than average (6'2 and 280lbs, wide shoulders and upper back), and have issues with the seats and B pillars

Russia has nothing to lose, as long as they don’t get destroyed in the process. They are a huge, natural resource rich country with a relatively low population. If Russia were to knock out the continental 48 and most of Western Europe with nuclear weapons, and control the Middle East, they would be geographically

Corvette is a high volume production vehicle for Chevy, like the regular Challenger trims are for Dodge. They don’t get the big supply vs demand disparity to take advantage of like the limited production Supra and Hellcat/Demon.

I’m guessing his friend’s dad told him no.

Move somewhere I don’t want to live, commute on 90-100F days risking heat stroke, below freezing icy and snowy days risking injury due to slipping or sliding, and show up to work drenched in sweat most of the time?

Honest answer? The spec for the part was probably different than the rest of the vehicle. It could also have been a dud where the supplier forgot to turn the anodes on in the tank.

Big wheels are a necessity because people keep buying huge cars with huge wheel wells. Stop buying stupid and bad cars.”

I drive a 200hp full sized hybrid sedan and 100 can sneak up on even me. My commute includes 45 miles of highway driving each way and I’ll regularly find myself following a car and realize I’m in the triple digits.

Incredibly unpredictable, except the make and model of the podium finishers’ cars.

Because these special editions where they add on parts, tune suspensions, and upgrade powertrains cost a fraction of the amount as developing new cars platform-up.

I mean, the 996 Cup is a race car.  If he’s having fun, good for him.

He already has a sweet daily (a modified RS-7) and is looking for a hot weekend and possibly occasional track car.

CarAdvice understands the current 4.5-litre V8 turbo-diesel and 4.6-litre V8 petrol will be phased out due to tougher global emissions standards.”

Maybe sedans and sports cars forgot, but trucks sure didn’t. Off the top of my head, the F150, Silverado, Ranger, Tacoma, and Tundra have it. The TRD Pro Tundras even have it on the bed sides too.
