Wipers- yes. These are so easy to install yourself (like 30 seconds), and you hsould be able to buy them for a few bucks.
This would be equivalent to replacing HP with fuel tank size.

Checks door jam on 2016 Avalon... Kentucky.
You can have a firearm in your checked bag on a lot of airlines, as long as it’s in a locked case and unloaded. If it’s loaded, you have a legal issue on your hands.
Sometimes I forget that I left it in the glovebox of the race car I’m checking, though.
Let’s throw out decades and billions of dollars of crash testing research because some guy on the internet braced themself in a crash!
I didn’t see any mention of that the dummy crushed the front seat passenger, too...

I don’t blame the dealer for being stand offish, until the end where the guy allegedly asked if his parents had given him his money. That’s was out of line. It is odd that they wouldn’t even give him information about the vehicle, though. That being said he could have found better info online.
The point is that if you actually wanted that Jetta, you could have ordered it immediately. It is an option that exists for those who actually want it. The #35K Model 3 is not. It’s a promise for sometime in the future.
