How many people are actually buying the sport bar thing for the new Colorado? That (besides sick graphics) seems to be the main thing missing nowadays.

I don’t get it. Several NBA and NHL teams share stadiums. The Giants and Jets share one. Even at the absolute highest level of sports in the US, sharing stadiums/arenas is acceptable.

The early GS shared some components but it was a different car (not based on a shared platform like a Camry/Avalon and an ES). An old LS is bigger but also RWD and has a very nice V8.

Australia has seemingly been very open with having absolutely zero tolerance for aggressive/stunt type driving. They stopped Gymkahna Nine from being filmed there last year on grounds that the style of driving didn’t represent the country and was a bad influence, even though the whole thing was to be filmed on closed…

Unpopular opinion: The Toyota cruise control stalk is the best cruise control control. Only one touch point, so it requires zero visual, unlike some cruise control buttons that are spread out on the wheel and require you to look at them.

And still says nothing about how they use it for different sized vehicles other than powertrain sharing.

This stuff is hard, and you’re right, the 20's and 30's are where it can happen on a surprisingly hurtful scale.

I have heard this too. Several people I’ve talked to have sworn by it but I get nervous for some reason. One, an auto tech teacher at a local community college, said he had done it for years with 100% ATF on many cars with good results.

ATF to remove the motor oil, brake fluid to remove the ATF, a degreaser to remove the brake fluid, dish soap to get any scum off, and dishwasher rinse aid to remove the hard water marks on metal handles. Then re-paint everything because you’ve worn a hole in the wall.

I thought the answer was going to be automatic transmission fluid, then a follow up article in a week or two about how to remove ATF from the surfaces of your house.

I disagree on green, especially dark green for trucks.

To be fair, the Routan was basically the best selling minivan in the country with a different badge. If they were to badge engineer anything I’d think that was the right choice on paper.

Did they say “it will also be a Chrysler Pacifica with VW badges” anywhere in that release?

The thing that has really crippled manuals in my opinion is that they no longer give cars performance cred/advantage. The fastest cars in the world had manuals in the 90's and early 2000's, so having a manual was almost like having trickled down racing tech. Automatic transmissions really were slushy and slow.

I know I’m about to see a dozen links to this video on facebook with titles like “The Flying Car is Here” or “This Will Be Your Next Taxi Ride.”
