Not installing the rare earth materials in catalytic converters could be done immediately and save a crapload of money.

2nd Gear: If Trump is such a champion of the economy, free market, etc, why doesn’t he use his self believed almighty power to tweet about this?

Especially when they admitted that the cone layout was confusing. It looks like the gap between cones they went through was larger, and I’d argue that the two cones inset further ahead could be interpreted as marking the area as the turning lane.

I thinkt he question is could you use the part as a dog toy? What is it made out of? People are pretty uptight about what their dogs chew on these days, and not for no reason.

Just caught the word “Province.” I assume you’re Canadian. That explains everything.

Convenience! Duh!

“and remains confident that she’ll be good to go later this year, “better than ever.””

.

I don’t know. This isn’t about “I’m mad because you beat me at something.” This is “you’re mad that you suck so you assaulted me with a 95mph hard ball, so I’m mad at you now.”

The WRX is “cheap” because it’s a trim level of a high volume economy car that shares a platform with a high volume compact CUV.

I couldn’t figure out what was wrong while I read this. “Kristen’s name is spelled wrong? Why am I gray? Why is she writing for Lifehacker now?” Then suddenly realized I was on Lifehacker reading something written by an entierly different person.

That is a great point. I should have said “mechanical,” but there really is little hands on coursework there.

We designed and built a fatigue tester for a project once. There were 6 people in our group. Two of them did absolutely zero machining or anything when we actually built it. They also happened to be the two who we gave simple tasks like “find this exact bearing and buy six of them.”

Oh hey I have that same thermo book!

“Do you still get a bonus if you’re quantifiably the worst performer in your workplace?”

Which tends to stand longer in areas the sun can’t hit it directly, like where there’s overgrown grass.

It’s amazing what hides in tall grass, isn’t it? We were cutting across a field in the Jeep on my in-laws farm last year (not going fast, maybe 8-10mph) when we literally hit a deer that was lying down. Fortunately she was okay.

I do actually get snakes that come in from the field/woods if my grass gets too long. I used to not mow the hill on the back half of my lawn until I saw an 8'+ snake back there right next to one of my dogs. Ticks are also rampant in the region and any tall grass, especially if it’s seeding, will quickly be inhabited

I take minimal care of my grass, just making sure there aren’t large bald patches because it leads to erosion on the hill, but I’ve always worried about that because my town/city does say that if you refuse to cut your lawn after a neighbor complains, and the city does deem it overgrown, they’ll do it for you and bill
