Excuse me, Bart Gets an F and Bart’s Dog Gets an F are two different episodes.
As a kid who often opted for strawberry definitely before chocolate, the quick joke in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs of kids diving into ice cream with the one lone child saying “Strawberry’s my favorite”.
They were originally very much foreground jokes, but I loved the way The Tick kept showing all of the damage done to the moon in later background shots.
I think it’s a mistake to make Salem’s lot a movie. It’s far too sprawling for that, and much of the impact of the story is its pace, and the slow, methodical way in which the town succumbs. You lose that in the space of a typical feature. It ought to be a miniseries.
I only knew him from Human Centipede, but boy, he was like 85% of the reason why I enjoyed that movie so much more than I expected. The other 15% being of course the anus to mouth.
It’ll be a sedan full of cash.
Yeah, I’m a big fan of Withers partially because of that, but the reason it gets mentioned so much is because of what a weird anomaly it is. On a long enough timeline, the overwhelming majority come back. Not everyone, of course, but enough that some skepticism at these announcements is more than warranted. I mean, we…
Mostly, although a prominent feature of the obits about Bill Withers who just died is that he got sick of the music business and happily walked away.
He has always been a real class act. There are some real good interviews with him where he honestly talks about how he never really felt typecast after Star Wars. Isn’t this line of thought nullified by Nacho’s vandalism? It wouldn’t look like an accident when part of the place will show signs of vandalism. I think Nacho had to do that to put a signature on the act, on behalf of the Salamancas. They don’t really care about an investigation.
Yes. You should check out the article you just commented on wherein writer Donna Bowman mentions that very thing.
Was I overreading, or did Gus briefly pause to inspect whether the team cleaned the fryers well enough? This writing... inspirational.
Rick and Morty does indeed have a Japanese dub. Most American shows do, believe it or not.
It actually did have the cast.... kind of. Those were the official voice actors for R&M in Japan.
This was actually pretty awesome, if really just a parody of samurai movie tropes. It benefits a lot from my having had the misfortune of seeing last April Fools Day’s “Bushworld Adventures” Rick And Morty short awhile back, which was... excruciatingly Australian.
