I kind of presumed that any Walt cameo would be later in the timeline when they were into the time where Jimmy was Saul and after he had already had his intro scene with Walt and Jesse. If they cross over into that time frame at all, it makes sense.

If they have a cameo earlier in the timeline, I can see them passing

I wish I had a rebuttal for that. But, as you say, here we are.

I’ll give the caveat that neither of my possibilities look good. That said, I think there are a couple possibilities.

1) He thought he was trolling Baron Cohen. I say that because, if you are a gun owner or follow this at all you have heard all the bylines and arguments for or against either side. So if we presume Van

A symbiote, maybe, not a parasite.

It didn’t appear that he was doing it with malice aforethought (Milton Berle he also was not), and he was apparently quick to compensate his sources if they brought the matter to his attention.

His stand up and public appearances were a mix for me. At times they are grating (sometimes that may have been the point), and at other times I found them just incredible for the energy and the brilliance of his mind working in ways that seemed so alien and made a weird sort of sense.

It’s kind of like watching some

I respectfully disagree. I still like The Dark Knight and think Ledger was great as the Joker. That was the first time, to me, the Joker felt like a real live sociopath, or at least a very damaged but human villain. Prior to that, outside of Killing Joke, he was just a cartoon(ish) character to me (although,

it was moronic of Johansson to throw shade on them in order to justify playing a trans part in 2018.

I think some of that is the changing times. When Felicity Huffman did her movie, I think it was ground breaking enough where most (at least outside of the trans gender community) just found it a pretty daring role. Now, it’s much more open. The controversy was certainly fueled by the snarky reply, and I am absolutely,

You have a point with that, however...the overall perception seems to be that most did not have a problem with any of those. I have not seen people take shots at anybody being discussed except Scarlett Johansson. Should she not be qualified to tell trans stories in any capacity? Perhaps not. And yet, when Tambor is

Is it possible her alleged “salty reply” was more a matter of not wanting to be a scapegoat? I am not defending her apparent dismissal, however her line was:

“Tell them that they can be directed to Jeffrey Tambor, Jared Leto, and Felicity Huffman’s reps for comment.”

That’s not terribly sensitive, however that does not

Johnny was such a badass, what with that feathered hair, the guitar solo, the way he just gave the jacket to the girl, and the fist punched into the air!

Thanks! If I want to kill a whole string of afternoons and weekends, I know where to look.

Nah, ah, ah! Simon didn’t say.

I think why it resonated with me is that the “thinking man’s Star Wars” is what I was looking for. That and after decades, I wanted something new and not a carbon copy of what I saw as a kid. I think it can be a “thinking man’s” show that is still entertaining and allows a sense of escapism.

Also, I mainly agree with

In terms of characters, where they start and where they end, no one really makes any progress.

Firstly what the fuck are force texts apart from maguffins vol 1-5? And why should I give a shit if they introduce and destroy them within an hour.

C’mon! Sure there are countless galaxies and some omnipresent “Force,” but all of the people who can use it sprawled across light years have to be related or connected somehow. It’s right there in the script! I mean, what are the odds one of those countless individuals could also have great Force-wielding powers or

I’m sure she’ll end up being some stupid 2nd cousin of Ren or something

One thing I’ve realized after watching it a few more times, apart from killing Snoke and Luke force-suicide, TLJ is pretty much non-essential.
