Which was Marvel’s template from the beginning. Would anyone REALLY have cared if DC did the same thing? The exact same thing?

I just don’t get why having a daughter makes such a difference.

The question then becomes, why did it take until you had a daughter to learn how to treat women?

Iron Man is probably a good template to look at for DC. Find some really enjoyable character that they can sell and that can evolve. They already have Superman and Batman, and it wasn’t that long ago that Nolan’s Batman movies were cultural phenomena. Plus Wonder Woman is a hit on her own. So find their Iron Man.

The

given that Infinity War just cleared the $2 billion mark, I think we both know damn well they wouldn’t be able to avoid making a shared universe.

I’ll actually mostly agree with you, although I still come to a slightly different conclusion.

1. Not quite sure what you’re getting at. As for HRC being unlikable and Trump winning the GOP...my point is, if Trump were a complete moron he would not have even gotten that far.

Sucks that it can now happen to men too, doesn’t it?

Those qualifiers always make me uneasy. Is the suggestion that, if a man had somehow grown up without any contact with a woman, he would be A-OK with abuse?

I know that if it doesn’t add to the plot, they won’t show it but, how does Phillip keep up his fighting skills. Where and when does he practice?

1.) I’m presuming you have some definitive proof about voter suppression in three rust belt states. Regardless, Trump still had to win the Republican nomination despite the party very actively working against him. Trump, for all his flaws, is very good at getting emotional responses, and when people are emotional

Then what would you call it?

That was great. It was genuine, heartfelt, wasn’t just asking for forgiveness but really felt like him owning a mistake. Granted, what Hardwick allegedly did was much, much worse. And yet, that genuine apology and changing of behavior (nobody’s perfect, however there still has to be some effort to improve and not just

I also, selfishly, want to believe he’s changed as a person and knows that this shit wasn’t acceptable.

Not sure if I qualify as “angry nerd,” however I’m just pissed at Hardwick. And anybody who does that. Driving your girlfriend to suicidal thoughts then having her blacklisted is more than a little shitty.

Our dream!

Seriously, though. There must be dozens of us. Dozens!

X-Men learned some things from Blade. Its heroes and villains were all people with goals and ideas that made sense within context. They all lived in an alternate world with its own easily explained rules and customs. [snip] And finally, the movie studios figured out how to turns comic book characters into effective

I like Blade II better, and yet...no. I have heard the sentiment that the original Blade was overall a better film a few times. I ALSO think I might appreciate the original more now just because it was perhaps better as a self-contained story. Blade II, as much as I liked it, relied on a bit of a gimmick, and the love

You’re right. I should underestimate him simply because I don’t like him, despite the fact he somehow managed to win the presidency and has managed to manipulate millions and has increased his approval ratings. That worked out really well in 2016 when we all assumed he was too stupid to win the Republican nomination,

Except that anyone could have done this at any point in time, if it had been a smart thing to do
