Well, that certainly explains why I avoided this game like the plague. Had a feeling about 90% of the player base is made up of screeching teenagers.

It’s almost like this is a new game. Plus I don’t think I’ve ever seen Square Enix do a complete 180 like this.

I think I will too, really delighted that they actually listened to their fan base on this one.

From the interviews I heard, it sounds like they legitimately didn’t know people wanted this. They released what they thought would be the best version of the product. That they listened to feedback and have already done this much is almost a miracle to me.

This is really tiresome. They listened to customer complaints and responded quickly, released a fix to address said complaints, and made the product something everyone is happy with shortly after launch.

Oh come on. Sure, they should’ve, but let’s not kick these guys now—they actually listened and made a change in a timely manner.

The updated version is so remarkably better that you really have to wonder how they ever thought that the original release was acceptable in any way. Still, props to them for listening to the fans. If they ever fix the FFVI release like this, I might actually buy it and play it finally.

Looks like I’m pulling the trigger on the purchase! I was so hesitant because of the terrible reviews, I’m looking forward to playing this all over again!

I guess I dont understand here. Everything worked fine, nintendo launched a patch and now the switch is broken and you blame the dock? Maybe I read something wrong but this seems like nintendo’s fault at around 110% of the blame.

The Switch dock is a bit more involved than a USB-C to HDMI adapter and includes custom chips to interface with the Switch to enable GPU overclocking and upscaling features.

USB C should be usb c. It’s a standard. The problem is Nintendo broke standard.
